After a long period of procrastination and indecision, I headed down to Waverley Station this afternoon and bought a return ticket to Linlithgow. Edinburgh had its first day of proper summer weather in three weeks today and I felt that I should make the most of it. The new railway stations at Cameron Bridge and Leven, Fife, opened yesterday, and as it was a beautiful sunny day today, I decided to make my inaugural trip to Leven by train.
